The Monte Sano Historic CCC Trail Renovation is supported by a grant from Innovate Alabama. Innovate Alabama is a state public corporation that strengthens Alabama's innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, and its Network program recognizes and invests in the assets that set communities apart, including outdoor recreation.
These trails are for everyone. Our CCC renovation at Monte Sano is rebuilding legacy singletrack for hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers alike, with sustainable tread, better drainage, and access that holds up. One mountain, every kind of adventurer. #TrailsForAll #HuntsvilleOutdoors #MonteSanoStatePark
HAMR is installing a hydration station at Monte Sano State Park, located at John Scoble Pavilion. The station gives trail users a reliable source of potable water at the trailhead, improving safety and comfort for mountain bikers, hikers, and runners and cutting down on single-use plastic on the mountain.
HAMR's Q3 Volunteer - Nate Goldsmith - helping to make the water fountain installation possible!

We want you on the HAMR Trail Crew. Help us build and maintain the trails all across North Alabama, from Monte Sano to Chapman Mountain to John Hunt Park, so they stay safe, clear, and rideable for everyone who loves them. No experience needed, tools and training provided, and all are welcome. Grab your gloves and give back to the dirt. Join a trail day at hamrhsv.com. #HAMR #TrailCrew #HuntsvilleOutdoors
