-Your Age is your age on December 31st of the current year.
-The E-bike category is for Class I e-bikes (no throttle) only.
-The Sasquatch category is for those that would weigh greater than 220 pounds in their "birthday suit" (don’t make us bring out a scale!).
-Race organizers reserve the right to combine/split categories.

Note that we will race if at all possible if weather/trail conditions warrant doing so. For the safety of riders and protection of trails, if the weather and trail conditions are too extreme, we will schedule one make-up date. If this make-up date is not feasible, the race will be canceled.

Races can’t happen without a host of amazing volunteers to support critical functions like course setup and tear-down, manning aid stations for racers, and providing registration support. Thanks for all you do!

The Course

Starting at the Bikers Parking Lot and Scoble pavilion, racers will get a tour of Monte Sano Mountain in 20 miles celebrating HAMR’s 20th anniversary as a non-profit: out on our plateau trails, then taking the plunge off the plateau down to the aptly named Rocky Nightmare and Goat trails. You’ll get a break on our newest jump line trail, Bluebell Holler, before continuing your journey on classics like Coldsprings, Bluffline, and back up the popular Bankhead Trail. Adventure awaits - well-rounded riders are in for a treat!
